Michael DeLapp

Michael DeLapp is an Information Systems Security Engineer with a strong background in information security and systems engineering. They have previously served as a Computer Specialist at the US Department of Homeland Security and as a Technical Information Security Officer at Defense Point Security, LLC, where they developed expertise in security policy compliance and complex technical controls. Michael continues to excel as a Principal Security Engineer at GuidePoint Security, working with a diverse range of clients to enhance their Splunk deployments for improved information security. Currently, they are pursuing further education at Northern Virginia Community College.
