Micheal Smith

Micheal Smith has been an engineer in IT for over 25 years, with roles progressing from a TV/VCR repairman to Senior Systems Engineer to Director of Technology. Currently serving as an IAM Advisory Consultant at GuidePoint Security, Micheal brings extensive knowledge in identity, data center, virtualization, and cloud solutions. Previous positions include Director of Technology at Northwest ISD, where they led over 50 employees and developed long-term strategies for the IT department, and as a Sales Engineer at Okta, Inc., where they supported partner growth in Identity and Identity Access Management. Micheal holds an Associate of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Education Center.
