Wesley Mbuakoto

Wesley Mbuakoto is an experienced data engineer with a solid background in database management, business intelligence, and web development. Currently serving as a Business Intelligence Specialist at GuidePoint Security since May 2024, Wesley previously worked at DSI from October 2022 to March 2024, where responsibilities included engineering scalable databases, scripting APIs, automating engineering tasks, and implementing data quality checks. Prior experience includes roles as a System And Database Administrator at American Dream, overseeing database administration for a major site, and as Head Of Web Development at Montclair State University's Department of Campus Recreation, managing web projects and mobile applications. Wesley's early career also included a Data Analytics Internship at VIE + RICHE, focusing on forecasting and KPI discovery using Python. A graduate of Montclair State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Wesley possesses a strong foundation in technology and data management principles.
