Weston Phillips

Weston Phillips is an experienced cybersecurity professional specializing in application security, currently serving as the Application Security Team Lead and Application Security Engineer at GuidePoint Security from April 2023 to March 2025. Previously, Weston worked at Paycom as an Application Security Analyst II and I from June 2020 to April 2023, where responsibilities included utilizing Confluence and security tools. Weston also participated in the Paycom Summer Engagement Program, collaborating on various projects within the Application Security department and completing a 'Capture the Flag' project. Earlier experience includes malware testing at StopBadware from July 2019 to May 2020, where skills involved using Burp Suite for traffic interception of malicious websites. Weston holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of Tulsa, where participation in the Tulsa Undergraduate Research Challenge took place in the summer of 2019.
