Bruce Falkenstein

Bruce Falkenstein is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as President of the AAPG Division of Professional Affairs and an Advisory Board Member of the Africa Energy Chamber. Since 2007, Bruce has operated as a consultant with Guidepoint, while also fulfilling the role of Associate Trustee for the AAPG Foundation. Previously, Bruce held significant positions at LUKOIL, managing joint operations and compliance for offshore licenses in deep water regions, and served as Vice President of the AAPG Division of Professional Affairs. Additional experience includes leadership roles in professional associations and contributions to corporate and alumni relations for the University of Calgary. Bruce holds a B.Sc in Honours Chemical Physics from the University of Calgary and a Certificate of Competence in Community Relations Practice from the University of the Witwatersrand.
