Chris Born

Chris Born is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in healthcare consultancy and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Healthcare and Project Specialist at the Department for Business and Trade since February 2012, Chris provides strategic consultancy to support UK healthcare companies in exporting services globally. In addition to mentoring clinical entrepreneurs through the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme and leading BORN HEALTH LTD as Director, Chris also acts as an Executive Coach for healthcare leaders via the NHS Leadership Academy. Other roles include an Ambassador for Tech West England Advocates and an Adviser for Guidepoint, along with past leadership roles in the NHS Collaborative Exports and The Converging World Renewable Energy. Chris holds degrees from the University of Cambridge, University of Sussex, and University of Portsmouth, demonstrating a strong educational foundation in classics, social work, and coaching.
