Dr. Thomas Maryon

Dr. Thomas Maryon is an Asst. Professor of Healthcare Policy, Economics, and Management at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler since February 2020 and an Adjunct Professor in the Health Administration Program at Central Michigan University since January 2019. Dr. Maryon has extensive experience in managed care advising, serving as a Senior Industry Advisor at Guidepoint and Atheneum since 2016. Previously, Dr. Maryon held various leadership roles at Blue Cross and Blue Shield, including Vice President of Clinical Operations and Divisional VP of Health Care Management from 2008 to 2019. Dr. Maryon earned a Doctorate in Health Administration and a Master of Science in Health Care Administration from Central Michigan University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wayne State University.
