Erik Beck

Erik Beck, P.Eng, is a seasoned mining professional with a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Queen's University. Currently serving as Projects Manager for Strategic Engineering and Underwater Remote Mining at Burgundy Diamond Mines, Erik has extensive experience in mining engineering with a focus on project development, exploration, and underground mining operations. Erik’s previous roles include advising in the mining industry and leading engineering projects, such as the dewatering of Point Lake and the Misery Underground Pre-Feasibility Study. Additionally, Erik operates two small businesses, Iron Ash and Iron Ash Thermal, which provide various industrial services and wood stove distribution, respectively. Other notable engagements include advisory roles with several mining-related companies and involvement in agriculture as a beekeeper and farmhand.
