George Hsu

George Hsu is a seasoned Silicon Design Engineer with extensive hands-on experience in large hierarchical and flat designs across various companies, including AMD, Samsung Electronics, and Marvell Semiconductor. They have developed and enhanced physical design methodologies, successfully completed numerous tape-outs and physical implementations, and contributed to automation efforts in design flows. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at The University of British Columbia, George continues to provide expertise as an ASIC Design Engineering Consultant at Guidepoint. Their work encompasses various areas of SoC Physical Design, including timing closure, power grid design, and static/dynamic power analysis.
