Sameer Hassamal

Sameer Hassamal, MD, FASAM, currently serves as Principal Investigator at CVS Health and Tilda Research, focusing on phase I-III and phase II-III pharmaceutical sponsored trials, respectively. As Chief Executive Officer of the California Neuropsychiatric Institute, Sameer leads initiatives in assessing and treating a wide range of mental health conditions, integrating newly approved FDA treatments. Sameer also holds positions as an advisor at Guidepoint and an independent medical reviewer at Maximus. Previously, Sameer was a Medical Director/Principal Investigator at PACIFIC CLINICAL RESEARCH MEDICAL GROUP, overseeing phase II and III clinical trials, and served as a consultation and liaison psychiatrist at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. Academic contributions include serving as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at California University of Sciences and Medicine, directing a behavioral medicine pre-clerkship course. Sameer completed medical education at Virginia Commonwealth University, UCLA, and the American University of the Caribbean, following a Bachelor of Science degree from UC Irvine.
