Stephen Austen Emeritus

Stephen (Steve) Austen SPHR Emeritus, SHRM SCP serves as Principal and Consultant at Stephen W Austen, LLC since July 2018 and provides advisory services at Guidepoint, GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group), and AlphaSights on Human Resources and Supply Chain Operations. With a robust background at Walmart, where Stephen managed Transportation Operations and held senior roles in logistics and HR across major distribution centers from 1988 to 2018, extensive experience in traffic and transportation management at companies such as Moore Handley, Stratton-Baldwin, and Kimco International has been accumulated. Stephen holds a BSBA in Management from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and completed leadership courses at the USAF Extension Course Institute and Cornell University. Additionally, Stephen held various leadership positions within The Spaatz Association, Inc., contributing to its governance as National President and board member from 2000 to 2013.
