Allison Spagnolo

Allison Spagnolo has a diverse work experience in both legal and compliance roles. Allison started their career at Burt, Blee, Dixon, Sutton & Bloom, LLP, where they worked as an Attorney from September 2010 to November 2013. In this position, they specialized in negotiating contracts, advising clients on regulatory compliance, and advocating for client interests in court.

In 2014, Allison joined Guidepost Solutions as a Managing Director, a role they held until March 2022. During this time, they provided compliance solutions to corporate clients in various industries, focusing on banking, privacy, healthcare, and government contractors. Allison conducted on-site inspections and reviews, assessed compliance with domestic and international privacy regulations, and developed risk reviews and assessments.

From July 2019 to December 2022, Allison served as the Deputy Privacy Officer at Guidepost Solutions. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Privacy Officer and Senior Managing Director at the same company, starting in November 2022.

From 2003 to 2007, they attended Purdue University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and English.

Subsequently, from 2007 to 2010, they enrolled in Indiana University Maurer School of Law and earned a Doctor of Law (JD) degree, specializing in the field of Law.

In addition to their formal education, in January 2023, Allison received the CIPP/US Privacy Professional Certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
