Jay Owen is currently the Managing Director at Guidepost Solutions, where they support clients in complex compliance and monitoring cases with a focus on due diligence, business intelligence, and antitrust. Previously, from 2019 to 2023, Jay served as the Chief of the Defense, Industrials & Aerospace Section at the U.S. Department of Justice, managing a team of 40 lawyers and paralegals while overseeing multiple investigations and litigations. Jay's experience also includes leading over twenty-five significant investigations as a Trial Attorney in the Antitrust Division and working as a key investigator in a multinational price-fixing case. Jay holds a Doctor of Law degree from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
