John B.

John B. has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Starting in 2023, they worked as an Associate Vice President at Guidepost Solutions. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2023, they held positions at Securitas Technology US, including Sr Director of Engineering and Project Engineering Director, managing a multi-million dollar systems integration project. From 2014 to 2018, they served as Vice President of Security Engineering at Sentinel Consulting, LLC. Before that, from 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Security Engineer at TSG Solutions, Inc., and from 2010 to 2011, they were an Engineer II at Syska Hennessy Group. John also has military experience as an Engineering Technician in the US Army from 2008 to 2009. Additionally, they worked as an Intern at DMJM Harris from 2005 to 2007 and as an MC Engineer Business Manager at Manhattan College in 2003.

John B. received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering from Manhattan College, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College, completing their studies in 2009. In terms of additional certifications, John obtained a Professional Engineer certification from NCEES in January 2016, a Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification from ASIS International in December 2014, and a Remote Pilot Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration in October 2017. John also has the distinction of being the ASIS Community Steering Committee Chair, which they achieved in January 2022.
