Mark Dance

Mark Dance has a long and diverse work experience in the religious and financial sectors. Mark is currently the Director of Pastoral Wellness at GuideStone Financial Resources since January 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Director of Care4Pastors at Great Commandment Network starting in April 2020. From 2019 to 2021, they held the role of Director of Pastoral Development for Oklahoma Baptists at Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma. Mark has also worked at LifeWay Christian Resources for five years as a Director and Associate Vice President from October 2014 to October 2019. Before embarking on their financial and leadership roles, Mark gained extensive pastoral experience by serving as a Senior Pastor at Second Baptist Church from 2001 to 2014, Ridgeview Baptist Church from 1991 to 2001, and Kingsborough Ridge Baptist Church from 1987 to 1990.

Mark Dance has a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from Howard Payne University, which they completed from 1983 to 1986. Mark then pursued a Masters of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary from 1987 to 1991. Mark went on to earn a Doctor of Ministry degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, completing it from 1993 to 1995. Additionally, Mark has another Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, but the specific dates are not provided.
