Roy H.

Roy H. has extensive work experience in the field of communications. Roy began their career in 1999 as a Communications Specialist at American Eurocopter. In 2001, they served as a Communications Coordinator at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth. From 2002 to 2005, they worked as a Public Relations Specialist at Bestfares.com.

In 2005, Roy joined GuideStone Financial Resources, where they held various roles over the years. Roy started as a Communication Development Leader II and later became a Sr. Marketing Communications Editor. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Manager, Editorial Services, and then as a Senior Manager of Editorial Services from 2012 to 2013. Roy was then promoted to the position of Director, Denominational & Public Relations Services, which they held until 2023. Roy also briefly served as the Director of Enterprise Communications before taking on their current role as the Director of Executive Communications at GuideStone Financial Resources.

Roy H. completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communications (Journalism/News-Editorial) from The University of Texas at Arlington between 1994 and 1999. Roy then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Dallas Baptist University from 2016 to 2021. Additionally, Roy acquired additional certifications in various areas such as strategic communications, reputation management, writing skills, and multi-project management throughout their career. Although Roy attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary from 2000 to 2001, they did not complete a degree there.
