Jeff Muchmore

Jeff Muchmore is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in privacy law and contract management. Currently serving as Privacy Counsel at Guidewire Software since November 2021, Jeff's previous roles include Senior Legal Counsel at OpenText, where leadership was demonstrated in drafting and negotiating various agreements for a forensic security line of business. Prior to that, Jeff was a Contract Manager on the Mergers & Acquisitions Deal Management Team at Oracle America, Inc., overseeing contract lifecycle management for newly acquired companies. Law experience also encompasses a position as Project Attorney at Simmons & Ungar LLP and a Judicial Intern for Honorable Judge William Monahan at the Superior Court of California. Jeff holds a Doctor of Law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law, as well as a BA in History from Kenyon College.
