Roberta Ayala

Roberta Ayala currently serves as a City Council Member for the City of Thornton, Colorado, having been elected in 2023. With extensive experience in education and advocacy, Roberta has worked as a Student Success Coach and Adviser at Guild Education since November 2018, following a role as an Enrollment Advisor at Ashford University from September 2015 to July 2018. Roberta’s background also includes organizing for labor unions, with positions at AFSCME Council 76 and SEIU Local 105 between 2010 and 2015. Roberta holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from The University of Arizona Global Campus and has obtained paralegal certifications from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
