Gulf Maritime Climate Intelligence (GMCI) is a specialist maritime climate governance and risk oversight platform supporting ports, maritime authorities, and long-lived infrastructure owners in navigating environmental and social transition risks.

GMCI focuses on translating operational sustainability indicators—such as carbon intensity and workforce safety metrics—into board-level governance insight. Our approach integrates climate risk, decarbonisation strategy, and workforce safety within structured oversight frameworks designed for senior decision-makers.

Through research-led methodologies and digital governance tools, GMCI supports organisations in:

• Climate risk assessment for maritime and port infrastructure
• Transition risk analysis and decarbonisation governance
• Workforce safety and social risk oversight
• ESG and sustainability reporting alignment
• Board-level risk register and decision support frameworks

GMCI’s work is grounded in maritime governance, international policy engagement, and long-horizon infrastructure resilience.

We engage selectively with operators, regulators, and institutional stakeholders seeking structured, governance-oriented approaches to safe and sustainable maritime development.
