The Gunpowder Valley Conservancy (GVC) is a Baltimore County-based land trust and watershed restoration nonprofit organization. Since 1989, GVC has preserved 2,000+ acres, planted 36,000+ trees, and removed 270+ tons of trash. We offer a variety of educational workshops and hands-on volunteer opportunities throughout the year. 

Our mission is to engage, connect, and inspire people to preserve and restore the Gunpowder Watershed.

Our vision is a Gunpowder Watershed that consists of healthy lands, healthy waterways, and healthy communities.
