Gurkha Movers | Family-Run Removals & Storage | Built on Trust, Legacy, and the Gurkha Spirit

For my family, the name Gurkha means more than heritage—it represents courage, resilience, and unwavering dedication. With generations of my family having served in the British Army as Gurkhas, these values are at the heart of everything we do.

Our journey began in a small village in Nepal. After my sisters and wife settled in the UK, I joined them in 2011. We started with humble beginnings, working hard to build a future. In 2020, we launched a domestic cleaning business built on trust and integrity. That foundation led to an unexpected moment—a client asked for help with her house move, and we stepped in. That single act of service sparked something bigger.

Today, Gurkha Movers is a trusted removals and storage company, proudly family-run alongside my brothers and a close-knit team. With over 35 years of combined experience, we’ve completed more than 200 moves, travelled over 100,000 miles, and now operate storage facilities with over 20,000 cubic feet of capacity.

But for us, it’s never just about the numbers. It’s about being there for people during life’s most significant moments—helping them feel supported, seen, and secure when it matters most. Every move is personal because it’s someone’s life in motion.

At Gurkha Movers, we carry our Gurkha spirit into everything we do: reliable, approachable, and always willing to go the extra mile. When you choose us, you’re not just hiring a removals company—you’re welcoming a family that truly cares.

We look forward to moving forward, together.
