Christopher Smith

Christopher Smith has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. Christopher began their career in 2000 as a Treasury Operations Analyst at Goldman Sachs. Christopher then moved to Deutsche Bank in 2001 as a Complex Product Support, followed by Credit Suisse in 2004 as an AVP - CFD Flow Finance and Hedge Fund Account Manager - Prime Services. In 2011, they co-founded Intersept and then joined Rexel UK Ltd in 2015 as an FM Regional Account Manager - North West. In 2017, they joined Alcumus as a Senior Business Development Manager - Enterprise Software and Business Development / Key Account Manager. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Gurobi Optimization as an Account Director - Banking & Financial services EMEAI.

Christopher Smith attended the University of Portsmouth from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a degree in Business Studies & Economics with a focus in Business. Christopher has also obtained several certifications, including Cyber Risk Management from Udemy in May 2020, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor - Information Security Certification from CQI Ireland in April 2019, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor from CQI Ireland in April 2018, and Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) from BCI.
