Simranjit Kaur

Simranjit Kaur has over 15 years of work experience in the field of mathematics. Simranjit began their career in 2005 as a Lecturer of Mathematics (ad-hoc) at Miranda House, University of Delhi. In 2006, they moved to SGTB Khalsa College, University of Delhi, where they served as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics until 2011. During this time, they also held a casual position as a Mathematics Tutor at the University of Newcastle (UON) in Australia. In 2015, they became a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of Melbourne. In 2018, they joined Quintiq, a Dassault Systèmes company, as an Operations Research Scientist. Most recently, they were hired as an Optimization Engineer at Gurobi Optimization in 2022.

Simranjit Kaur has a comprehensive education history, beginning with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mathematics (Hons) from the University of Delhi, India, which they completed between 1999 and 2002. Simranjit then completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mathematics from the same university in 2004. Following this, they completed a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Mathematics from the University of Delhi, India in 2007. Finally, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Operations Research from the University of Newcastle in 2015.
