Steven Edwards

Steven Edwards has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. Steven began their career as a Teaching Associate at Monash University. In 2013, they took on a Team Leader and Project Coordinator role at META Manufacturing, where they worked alongside CEOs and Managing Directors from companies such as the World's Economic Forum, Siemens Australia, and Gipps Aero. This experience inspired him to pursue a PhD in Operations Research and Medical Technologies at Leica Biosystems in 2015. In 2019, they held a Research Scientist (Optimisation) position at the Australian Bureau of Statistics and a Course Developer (Optimisation) role at The Australian National University. Currently, Steven is a Technical Account Manager at Gurobi Optimization and a Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne.

Steven Edwards has an extensive education history. Steven began their studies in 2009 at Monash University, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in a double major of Engineering (Mechanical) and Science (Mathematics). In 2012, they participated in an exchange program at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they studied Applied Mathematics. Steven then returned to Monash University and in 2015, they began their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied Mathematics, which they completed in 2019. Prior to their university studies, Steven attended St Leonard's College.
