Ian Kim

Ian Kim is a seasoned Technical Director at Guru Studio, with 20 years of experience in the CG industry. They have developed numerous tools to enhance studio workflow, such as a pipeline integrated media player and various asset management applications. Previously, Ian held positions such as Lead Modeler at Arc Productions and Technical Director at Jam Filled, where they focused on frontend and backend application development, including integrating Universal Scene Description into the studio pipeline. Ian's educational background includes certificates in Illustration and Computer Animation from Sheridan College, as well as a degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
