Chris Scheels is an experienced professional in product marketing and management with over two decades in various leadership roles. Currently serving as VP of Product Marketing at Gurucul, Chris previously held similar positions at AppGate and Core Security, overseeing marketing initiatives, sales operations, and cross-functional projects. Chris has a strong background in developing marketing strategies, driving revenue growth, and managing product launches, as well as experience in business intelligence and competitive analysis. Earlier roles include key positions at CenturyLink Business, Cbeyond, and Cypress Communications, with a foundational role at Icon Software. Chris holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and is ITIL V3 Foundation Certified.
