Gary Eppinger

Gary Eppinger serves as the Vice President of Technology and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at CSX since May 2021. In addition to current roles including Board Member at CSX IP Data and Document Storage and member of the Board of Advisors for SecureWorld and Stripes, Eppinger brings extensive experience in cybersecurity and technology leadership. Previous roles include CISO at Carnival Corporation, and advisory positions for Cybernet, Gurucul, and T-safe, highlighting a strong focus on security analytics and risk management. Eppinger co-founded the National Leaders in Information Security & Cyber-Security and has a background in education from Stanford University, Cornell University, and Campbell University, where a Bachelor of Arts in Data Processing was earned.
