Danielle Barnes serves as Chief of Staff for Design and Core Experiences at Gusto since November 2024. Previously, Danielle co-founded and co-organized Austin Design Week from May 2016 to February 2023, focusing on community building and accessible design, ultimately growing the event to over 4,000 attendees. Danielle's experience at General Assembly includes roles as New Markets/Education Programs Producer and Global Program Manager, where responsibilities encompassed launching programs, expanding global education offerings, and leading operational efficiencies. Danielle also held the position of Regional Director for Austin at General Assembly, overseeing substantial business growth and team development. As an instructor at Stanford Continuing Studies from August 2020 to May 2022, Danielle taught public speaking courses, and currently acts as CEO of Women Talk Design, a social enterprise aimed at amplifying the voices of women and nonbinary individuals through training and community support. Danielle holds a degree from the University of Virginia.
