Steven Abbott

Steven Abbott possesses extensive experience in government and regulatory affairs, currently serving as Head of Government and Regulatory Affairs, as well as Head of Public Policy and Government Affairs at Gusto since October 2021. In addition, Steven holds a position on the Board of Directors for the CAMEO Network since January 2025. Prior to these roles, Steven spent a decade at The Pew Charitable Trusts, progressing from Senior Associate to Senior Officer. Steven's earlier career includes serving as Director of Government Relations at The CJR Group and as a Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives. Academically, Steven earned a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Denison University.
