Alan Anders

Alan Anders is a seasoned professional in data strategy and technology, currently serving as Managing Director of Data Strategy at Guy Carpenter since May 2019. Prior to this role, Alan held positions including Chief Technical Advisor at Ohi, CTO at Applecart, and Chief Data Scientist and Lead Technologist at SimpleReach. Alan’s expertise encompasses data engineering, machine learning, and predictive analytics, utilizing a range of tools and technologies such as Python, Spark, and AWS. Alan's earlier experience includes significant roles at Birchbox, Princeton Consultants, and the University of Chicago, where Alan contributed to software engineering, consulting, and academic research. Alan holds a PhD ABD and MS in Mathematics from the University of Chicago and a BS in Computer Science & Engineering and BA in Mathematics from UC San Diego.
