Brian Johnson

Brian Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Most recently, they served as the Head of North American Actuarial Advisory at Guy Carpenter starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they were the Regional Head of Analytics at the same company from May 2022 to November 2022. From 2015 to 2022, Johnson worked as the Chief Underwriting Officer at Nonprofits Insurance Alliance Group. Brian also held the position of Senior Vice President at Swiss Re from 2003 to 2015. In addition, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Penn State Smeal College of Business from 2006 to 2013, teaching a class on actuarial science and risk management. Before that, Brian Johnson was a Senior Vice President at American Re-Insurance Company from 1996 to 2003, an Actuary at USF&G from 1992 to 1996, and a Consulting Actuary at EY from 1989 to 1992.

From 1984 to 1989, Brian Johnson attended Pennsylvania State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics/Actuarial Science.
