Dean Marcus

Dean Marcus is the Senior Vice President and US Property Actuarial Lead at Guy Carpenter since December 2018, where responsibilities include analytics and strategy for global clients, leading the Property Center of Excellence, and creating advanced training in analytics. In addition, Dean serves as the Chair of the CAS Reinsurance Working Group and is a member of the CAS Research Council, promoting research and best practices in actuarial science. Previous experience includes roles at Taylor Fry as an actuary and data scientist, where Dean contributed significantly to industry thought leadership and developed machine learning solutions for clients. Dean's career began with internships at Quantium and Towers Watson, and Dean holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Actuarial Science from the University of Melbourne.
