James Waller

Research Meteorologist

James Waller is an experienced Research Meteorologist at Guy Carpenter, holding that position since June 2012. Previously, James provided Extreme Weather & Climate Advisory Services for Environment Canada and Risk Sciences International from July 2011 to June 2012, and served as a Physical Scientist with Climate Adaptation & Impacts Research at Environment Canada between May 2010 and June 2011. In the academic field, James worked at George Brown College, first as an Instructor from 1998 to 2000 and then as Chair from 2000 to 2003. James holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and a Master’s Degree in Meteorology from Florida State University, along with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Systems Design Engineering with an Environmental Engineering Option (Honors) from the University of Waterloo.
