John Connors

John Connors has extensive work experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. John is currently the Chief Information Officer at Guy Carpenter since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Global Head of Technical Operations at Guy Carpenter from April 2021 to January 2022.

Before joining Guy Carpenter, John worked at Gen Re for a significant period of time. John held various roles including Chief Information Officer from May 2013 to December 2020. In this position, they were responsible for overseeing the company's information technology functions. Additionally, they served as the Program Director from May 2010 to April 2013, where they successfully led the implementation of the global SAP for Reinsurance platform. Furthermore, they were the Head of Operations from August 2002 to April 2010, where they established and managed a centralized Operations team to support underwriting teams at Faraday, a London Market subsidiary of Gen Re.

Prior to Gen Re, John worked at Lambourn Insurance Services Ltd as a Client Manager from May 1995 to August 2002. In this role, they were responsible for developing and managing consulting, insourcing, and project delivery business for clients in the Lloyd's and London Market.

John's career in the insurance industry began at the English & American Group, where they served as a Claims Technician from April 1992 to May 1995.
