Jolyon Mitchell has a diverse work experience, starting with an internship at Tiger Hill, a property development company. Jolyon then interned at Quintessentially, a communication and marketing agency, before volunteering with Africa & Asia Venture Ltd and working with the Indigenous Lepcha Association. Jolyon also worked as a Field Sales Adviser for EDF Energy and as a Public Relations and Social Media Manager at S2M Group (China). Jolyon later joined the University of Leeds as a student and went on to work as a Business Development Executive at Polaris Financial Technology Limited. Jolyon then worked as a Senior Consultant at JLT Group before joining Guy Carpenter, where they currently hold the position of Vice President.
Jolyon Mitchell completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the field of Study at Cranfield University from 2020 to 2026. Prior to that, they obtained a Certificate in Terrorism Studies from the University of St Andrews in 2016-2017. Jolyon Mitchell also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Geography from the University of Leeds, which they completed from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business/Managerial Economics at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2012-2013. Earlier in their education, Jolyon Mitchell attended the Royal Hospital School from 2002 to 2009, without obtaining a specific degree or field of study.
