Mark German is a Product Developer at Guy Carpenter, where responsibilities include serving as a Flood Advisor and Catastrophe Analyst since July 2018. Previously, Mark held the position of Catastrophe Modeling Co-op at the same company from July 2017 to May 2018. Academic experience includes working as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Rehabilitation Game & Virtual Reality Laboratory, where a wearable product for tracking physical therapy movements was developed using an Arduino Uno. Mark also interned at Schlumberger as an Ultrasonics Vision Intern, contributed as an Undergraduate Researcher for the NU Marine Observatory Network Research Project, and worked part-time at Accel Learning converting math quizzes for online use. The career started as an intern at WASA Studio, focusing on converting air duct system designs into electronic formats. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Northeastern University, completed in 2018.
