Matt Fox is a Catastrophe Modeller at Guy Carpenter and the author of "Seismic Retrofit of Existing Buildings" published by Emerald Publishing. They previously held positions as an Associate in Earthquake Engineering and Senior Seismic Engineer at BICL(NL) B.V. and Beca, respectively. Matt is also a former PhD candidate at IUSS - Istituto Universitario di Studi Superiori di Pavia and has worked as a Structural Engineer at Alan Reay Consultants Ltd. They have completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Canterbury and a Master of Science in Earthquake Engineering from the University of Patras.
