Matthew Day

Matthew Day is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the insurance and advisory sectors, currently serving as Managing Director for India, Middle East & Africa at Guy Carpenter since May 2010. In addition to this role, Matthew holds non-executive positions at Guy Carpenter and Co, Pty in South Africa, and has previously been Managing Director for UK Property & Casualty, Interim Chief Executive Officer for South Africa, and Head of Rating Agency Advisory. Prior to joining Guy Carpenter, Matthew was an Associate at Standard & Poor's from June 2003 to May 2010. Educational qualifications include a Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership Certificate in Business Sustainability Management from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Business Economics from the University of Leicester.
