Michael Waterman

Michael Waterman is an experienced insurance professional currently serving as the Managing Director & Public Entity Segment Leader at Guy Carpenter since April 2019. Prior to this role, Waterman was the Executive Vice President & Public Entity Leader at JLT Re from November 2013 to April 2019, and held the position of Executive Vice President at Towers Watson, where Waterman led the Public Entity sector from September 2010 until November 2013. Waterman's career also includes significant roles at Coregis Insurance Company and Argonaut Group as Senior Underwriting Manager and National Sales Director for Public Entity Pools, as well as serving as President at Avemco Insurance Company. Waterman began the career at NLC Mutual Insurance Company as Vice President of Underwriting. Waterman holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Risk & Insurance from The University of Texas at Austin.
