Mike Borik

Mike Borik has extensive experience in the legal and corporate sectors, currently serving as Managing Director and Chief Counsel for Global Capital Solutions at Guy Carpenter since July 1994. In this role, Mike provides strategic advice to senior management and assists in negotiating complex agreements with key clients. Previously, Mike held the position of General Counsel, overseeing all legal affairs and serving on the Executive Committee, as well as Senior Corporate Counsel, focusing on corporate transactions and commercial contracts. Prior to joining Guy Carpenter, Mike was a Corporate Associate at Cahill Gordon & Reindel. Mike holds a JD from Cornell Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University at Albany.
