Peter Johansson

Peter Johansson is a seasoned reinsurance executive with extensive experience in the insurance sector. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Guy Carpenter since October 2019, Peter specializes in treaty and facultative reinsurance. Prior to this role, Peter held the position of Senior Vice President at Marsh & McLennan Companies from March 2011 to October 2019, overseeing the BA Risk Management Practice and later leading the BA Placement, Specialties & Practices. Peter’s career also includes serving as Managing Director at Ikano Group, where leadership was provided for Ikano Insurance Ltd. and Ikano Life Insurance Ltd. From 2000 to 2007, Peter worked at If Insurance as Head of Sales and Client Servicing, Industrial, and was part of the Nordic Executive Management team. Earlier professional experience includes an Account Executive role at Skandia. Educational qualifications consist of a Master of Laws (LLM) from Lund University and completion of a District Court Law-Clerk program at Sveriges domstolar.
