Richard Gower is an experienced insurance and reinsurance professional currently serving as the Head of Treaty for Singapore and Multinational at Guy Carpenter since August 2020, with the title of Senior Vice President. Prior to this role, Richard held the position of Reinsurance Underwriter in Property Treaty at XL Catlin from November 2017 to August 2020. Richard's extensive background also includes serving as a Divisional Director and Reinsurance Broker at Willis Towers Watson Australia from December 2010 to September 2017, as well as a brief tenure as a Reinsurance Broker at Willis Re in 2013. Richard holds a Law LPC with Distinction from BPP Law School (2008-2010) and a BA Hons in Politics with a 2:1 from Newcastle University (2005-2008). Education was completed at Wellington College from 1999 to 2004.
