Ross Nottingham is an experienced insurance and reinsurance professional, currently serving as Managing Director of Retrocession at Guy Carpenter since October 2021. Prior to this role, Ross held the position of Chair of North America at Hiscox Re & ILS from September 2018 to October 2021, and served as Head of North America and the Caribbean at Hiscox Re from January 2012 to October 2021. Ross began a career in reinsurance as a Broker at Aon Benfield from August 2005 to December 2011 and previously at Harman, Wicks and Swayne from January 2000 to July 2005. Ross holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Leeds Beckett University, obtained between 1994 and 1998, and attended Watford Boys Grammar School from 1987 to 1994.
