Jochen Evertz

Jochen Evertz is an experienced Information Technology professional with a strong background in application management and system administration. Currently serving as the Information Technology Application Manager at GVL - Gesellschaft zur Verwertung von Leistungsschutzrechten mbH since January 2022, Jochen previously held roles as an IT Application Engineer at Francotyp-Postalia Holding AG, and Software Engineer at Monotype DACH, where Jochen focused on web-based tools for font production with Django and Flask. Jochen has also contributed to significant IT projects as an IT-Systemadministrator, migrating ERP data and network systems at Monotype, and managed IT operations for the TYPO Berlin Conference for over two decades. Jochen's foundational education includes Vordiplom degrees in Elektrotechnik and Elektronik from Ruhr University Bochum.
