Founded in 2025 by curator Genevieve Williams, GW Contemporary is a new gallery based in Laguna Beach, California. Located at 305 N Coast Highway, directly opposite the Laguna Art Museum, the gallery introduces an international perspective to Laguna Beach’s historically coastal-leaning arts landscape.

Dedicated to presenting contemporary artists from Australia, California, and beyond, GW Contemporary draws on Williams’ dual roots in Sydney and Southern California, fostering cross-cultural dialogue, perceptual engagement, and material innovation. Showcasing both emerging and established artists, the gallery embraces a flexible, responsive approach to programming that includes solo exhibitions, group shows, and collaborative activations.

With thoughtful curation and creative exchange at its core, the gallery fosters unexpected intersections across disciplines and geographies.
