Eric Xia

Eric Xia has extensive work experience in finance and management. Eric began their career at BBK Electronic, LTD as a Finance Supervisor, where they focused on product costing and internal control enhancements. Eric then moved on to Shanghai Jahwa United Co., Ltd as an FP&A Manager, leading annual budgets and preparing monthly performance analysis.

Eric then joined Sensata Technologies as an FP&A/Finance Manager, overseeing a range of finance functions for multiple legal entities. Eric supported high growth through successful integration, M&A activities, and investments.

Afterward, they worked at OTIS as a Finance Controller, handling full finance scopes for High Rise Elevator and providing strategic support, setting up finance frameworks, and ensuring compliance requirements.

Currently, Eric is the Finance Head for China and India at G&W Electric Co., where they lead financial operations for these regions.

Eric Xia obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Law from Wuhan University from 2001 to 2004. Additionally, they obtained another Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Accounting from the same university from 2000 to 2004. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the McGill Personal Finance Essentials certification from McGill University - Desautels Faculty of Management in March 2021. Eric also earned the FCMA CGMA certification from CIMA in August 2016, the FIPA, FFA certification from the Institute of Public Accountants in December 2015, the ACCA certification from ACCA in December 2014, the CMA certification from IMA | Institute of Management Accountants in April 2012, and the Economist's Intermediate Credential from the Shanghai Human Resources and Social Security Bureau in January 2010.
