Jim Ding is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the laser technology industry. Currently serving as the CEO of GW Laser Technology LLC since March 2016, Jim previously held the position of Laser Technology and Business Development Manager at Prima Electro North America from March 2014 to March 2016. Prior roles include Technical Manager and Laser Scientist at Nufern from June 2007 to March 2014, where responsibilities involved new product development and supervising R&D activities. Jim's career began as Principal Laser Scientist at Akamai Physics Inc. from May 2005 to June 2007, leading R&D projects. Jim earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics from Wuhan University.
