Jon Moore

Jon Moore has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Jon currently serves as a Senior Operations Manager at GW Lisk, starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Returns and Warranty Leader at the same company from May 2021 to July 2022.

Before joining GW Lisk, Jon worked at GE Aviation for several years. Jon held the role of New Product Introduction Manager from September 2020 to May 2021. Prior to that, they were the Manufacturing Quality Manager from November 2018 to September 2020. From March 2018 to November 2018, they served as the Production Supervision Manager OMLP.

Additionally, Jon worked as a Manufacturing Process Engineer OMLP from July 2017 to March 2018 at GE Aviation, where they successfully brought the thermal barrier coating process in-house and implemented a transition from 3-axis to 5-axis mills for legacy programs.

Moreover, they served as the MRO Digital Materials Leader OMLP from November 2016 to July 2017, where they collaborated with digital teams and played a key role in developing and leading training for five different shops.

Jon's earlier experience at GE Aviation includes working as a Process Engineering Co-op in 2015, where they focused on CFM56 Engine assembly and participated in assembly mistake-proofing events. Jon also worked as a Process Engineering Co-op in 2014, specializing in Manufacturing Operations in Seals and High Pressure Turbine Casings, where they designed an Aged WIP database and simplified the Kanban systems.

Jon's prior experience includes roles as a Hydraulics Engineering Co-op at The Raymond Corporation in 2013, where they worked on diagnosing and testing the hydraulic system of forklift trucks, and as a Combustion Engineering Co-op at ETTER Engineering in 2013, where they tested new products and designed test fixtures.

Jon Moore has a diverse education history with a focus on leadership skills and operations management. In 2010, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. In 2016, they attended Cincinnati State Technical and Community College for a program called Jet Engine Teardown School. In 2017, they studied Operations Management 201 at GE Crotonville. In 2018, they participated in a program at GE Crotonville called Activating Your Leadership Journey. Jon also obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from GE Aviation in October 2018. Lastly, in 2020, they attended GE Crotonville again for a program in Building Essential Leadership Skills.
