Xin Wang started their work experience in 2007 as a Project Technician at Chengdu University Of Technology, where they assisted a team on a project and performed photo interpretation. They then moved on to work as a Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2009, where they evaluated the quality of addresses using ArcGIS Desktop. In the same year, Xin also became a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where they designed assignments, provided instructions, and assisted students in GIS-related topics. In 2011, Xin joined GIS Workshop, LLC as a Software Developer and later took on an Internship role.

Xin Wang's education history begins in 2004, when they enrolled in the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. Xin pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Technology, completing their studies in 2006.
