Bob Smith currently serves as the Interim Associate Vice Provost for Research Innovation & Entrepreneurship and the Director of I-Corps at The George Washington University, where Bob oversees the NSF I-Corps program. With extensive experience in entrepreneurship, Bob co-founded and acts as Chairman of Bright Hub, Inc./CollegeFactual.com and has held various leadership roles, including President of The Estimating Department and Director of the Innovation Commercialization Assistance Program for the Virginia SBDC Network. Additionally, Bob has enriched the entrepreneurial community through previous positions at George Mason University and as the Director of the Fed Tech I-Corps Program at George Washington University, contributing to technology transfer and commercialization efforts. An educational background in Political Science from the University of Southern California and an MBA from The George Washington University further underpins Bob's expertise in innovation and business strategy.
